2009年5月8--9日，四川大学欧洲问题研究中心邀请中国、欧洲部分在华的让·莫内讲座教授（Jean Monnet Chair Professor）来四川大学，围绕“欧洲一体化及其相关问题”进行了广泛、深入的学术讨论。参会的中欧学者有来自波兰华沙经济大学副校长Elzbieta Kawecka Wyrzykowska教授、华沙经济大学东亚研究所所长，原中欧欧洲研究中心项目欧方学术顾问Gunter Heiduk教授；比利时布鲁塞尔自由大学当代中国研究所所长Gustaaf Geeraerts教授；意大利特伦托大学欧洲研究中心Riccardo Scartezzini教授；法国巴黎政治学院亚欧项目主任，原中欧欧洲研究中心项目欧方学术委员David Camroux 教授；上海复旦大学欧洲问题研究中心名誉主任戴炳然教授；中国人民大学欧洲问题研究中心前主任、联合国大学比较地区一体化研究中心研究员宋新宁教授，人大欧洲问题研究中心副主任罗天虹教授等。赵昌文副校长、石坚副校长以及社科处、国际交流处等部处领导在研讨会前亲切会见了来校参加研讨会的中、欧嘉宾。赵昌文副校长向来宾介绍了我校的情况以及四川大学在增强国际学术合作交流方面的成果和努力。

四川大学副校长、四川大学欧洲问题研究中心主任、让·莫内讲座讲授石坚博士主持了研讨会，他首先简短介绍了四川大学欧洲问题研究中心近十年的发展和取得的研究和教学成果，以及目前研究课题执行和培养研究生的概况。同时就四川大学欧研问题研究中心跨学科开展欧洲一体化相关课题的研究及其进展做了主题介绍。法国巴黎政治学院亚欧项目主任Camroux 教授随即就欧洲一体化研究中应注意的几个问题提出了他的思路。华沙经济大学副校长Wyrzykowska教授就新成员国加入欧盟后的经济政治发展问题谈了她的看法；意大利特伦托大学欧洲研究中心Scartezzini教授的发言中特别提到欧盟社会政治的研究中应注意的问题。华沙经济大学东亚研究所所长Heiduk教授在他的发言中特别提到大家应注意《里斯本条约》的执行等等。宋新宁教授、戴炳然教授就中国对欧盟一体化研究中应注意的问题都提出了他们的看法，学者们的发言受到与会的老师和同学们的高度关注，与会师生纷纷提出问题和自己的看法，讨论热烈。与会老师和同学们对讨论反应良好，纷纷表示这样高水平的研讨会和对话的形式很好，应多多举行，对加强对欧洲一体化问题的研究、提高对相关问题的认识，促进学术交流都有积极意义的。

From 8 to 9 May 2009，European Studies Centre, Sichuan University invited some Jean Monnet Chair Professors from both China and Europe to come to Sichuan University to participate in the workshop “European Integration Studies and the Related Issues”. Prof. Elzbieta Kawecka Wyrzykowska (Vice President of Warsaw School of Economics, Poland), Prof. Gunter Heiduk (Director of The Institute of East Asian Studies, Warsaw School of Economics, and former EU academic consultant of ESCP), Prof. Gustaaf Geeraerts (Director of the Institute of Contemporary China Studies, Vrije Universiteit Brussel), Prof. Riccardo Scartezzini (from European Studies Center, University of Trento, Italy), Prof. David Camroux (Director of the Asia-Europe Program, Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, and former European Board Member of ESCP), Prof. Dai Bingran (Honorary Director of the European Studies Centre, Fudan University), Prof. Song Xinning (former Director of the European Studies Centre, Renmin University of China, and a research fellow in Comparative Regional Integration Research Centre, United Nations University), Luo Tianhong (Deputy Director of the European Studies Centre, Renmin University of China) and other scholars had a broad and deep academic discussion on “European Integration Studies and the Related Issues”. Before the starting of this workshop, Vice President Prof. Zhao Changwen, Vice President Prof. Shi Jian, and leaders from International Office, Sichuan University, warmly welcomed these visiting guests, and Vice President Prof. Zhao Changwen introduced Sichuan University and its efforts in and the results of enhancing international academic cooperation and exchange.

This workshop was chaired by Dr. Shi Jian, Vice President, Director of the European Studies Centre and Jean Monnet Chair Professor, Sichuan University. He briefly introduced the development and the results of the research and teaching of the Centre in recent ten years, the implementation of research project and the training of graduate students. He also introduced the theme of the interdisciplinary research of the related issues of European integration carried out by the Centre. Prof. David Camroux put forward his opinions on some problems in the research of European integration. Prof. Elzbieta Kawecka Wyrzykowska talked about the issue of EU economic and political development after the enlargement. Prof. Riccardo Scartezzini specially emphasized the problems in EU social and political research. Prof. Gunter Heiduk reminded scholars of the implementation process of the Lisbon Strategy. Prof. Dai Bingran and Prof. Song Xinning also gave their ideas about China’s research on European integration respectively. These scholars’ speeches triggered hot discussions; teachers and students raised various questions and expressed their views. This workshop was well received by teachers and students. They said such high-level academic activities, which provide a good platform of dialogue, should be held frequently. All agree that such a workshop has a positive effect of strengthening European integration studies, raising public awareness of related issues as well as promoting academic exchanges.

新闻链接：Jean Monnet（让·莫内）先生系已故法国籍的欧洲著名政治家，欧盟的积极创立者和早期领导人之一，史称“欧洲之父”。

“让·莫内讲座教授（Jean Monnet Chair Professor）”是欧盟为支持和发展欧洲一体化领域研究与教学而设置的最高荣誉称号。原授予对象仅限欧洲境内在该领域卓有成就的大学教授，自2001年起，欧盟委员会开始向欧盟成员国以外国家的学者授予“让·莫内讲座教授”职位，并提供特定的经济资助。所有申请学者都要经过严格的审批程序，特别是要经过若干名相关专家、按申请人的在欧洲一体化研究领域的学术成果、申报讲座教授执行内容的教学、科研学术影响等相关标准逐项评审给分，使得这个直接由欧盟授予的学术头衔成为该领域研究学者的激烈竞争目标。

2001年欧盟授予我国三名学者让·莫内讲座教授头衔，他们分别为

·中国人民大学欧洲问题研究中心前主任宋新宁教授，研究领域：国际关系理论、国际政治经济学、欧盟政治与外交，现任联合国大学比较区域一体化研究所高级研究员。

·复旦大学欧洲问题研究中心前主任戴炳然教授，研究领域：世界经济、欧盟经济学。

·澳门大学法学院院长，武汉大学欧洲问题研究中心前主任、法学院前院长曾令良教授。研究领域：国际法、欧盟法。

自2001年到2007年间，我国没有一位教授再获此殊荣。2008年10月，经过激烈竞争，四川大学副校长、欧洲问题研究中心主任石坚博士申报的“让·莫内讲座教授”获得欧盟批准，成为中国第四位“让·莫内讲座教授”，也填补了我国多年没有获得该头衔的空白。2008年与石坚教授同时获此头衔的全球学者共有26位，分布在北美、欧洲等地，亚洲仅有我校石坚教授获得。

让·莫内讲座教授是一个特殊的教席，旨在从高等教育的层面上激励在欧洲一体化研究领域中进行的教学和研究。目的是提高学者、学生和公民对全世界范围内有关欧洲一体化方面相关研究的理解和认知。
